Triathlon
and 5k Run

The 10th Annual Aurora BayCare Triathlon and Youth Triathlon is designed for those who want a kick start to the triathlon season.

It features a man-made lake in Ashwaubomay Park that is shallow, warm, and perfect for first-time triathletes.

The 5K Run uses the same run course as the triathlon.

DISTANCE
   Sprint: 400 yard swim, 20.7 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

THE COURSE
Swim Course
The swim will be in Ashwaubomay Lake, a man-made lake. A buoy line will be available to rest on if needed and will serve as a guide for the finish point, which will have a huge signs. The swim course will start at the north end of the lake, go out, circle around, and return to the north end of the lake.

Bike Course
The bike course heads out of the park heading south on Broadway and quickly heading west on Parkview to the scenic brown county. Miles marked every mile. Elevation map will be coming soon!

Run Course
The run follows out of Ashwaubomay Park and heads north on Broadway turning around near the National Railroad Museum and returning on Broadway back to the park. Course is very flat.

Saturday, May 30 Youth Tri Ashwaubomay Park
             6:45 a.m. - Youth Triathlon-Registration & Packet Pick-Up
             7:30 a.m. - Youth Triathlon START

Expo & Adult Registration  
Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center, 1160 Kepler Dr, Green Bay
             2-5 p.m. - Expo, Adult Registration & Packet Pick-Up
             4 p.m. - Course Talk

Sunday, May 31 Adult Triathlon
Ashwaubomay Park
             5 - 6:45 a.m. - Registration & Packet Pick-Up
             6:45 a.m. - Transition Area Closes
             6:55 a.m. - National Anthem at Start Line
             7 a.m. - RACE START
             7:15 a.m. - 5K START

PERKS
We provide technically sound, safe, and exciting events.  Participants receive a
DRI WICK SHIRT, swim cap, food and fun after the event.

Bike racks will have your race number and wave you start in.  Each mile on the run courses will be marked.  All courses will have highly visible signage for each turn. There will also be plenty of aide stations along the course.

Results will be posted at pttiming.com.

Sprint $40     Relay(each) $30    5k $20  
To March 1:
Sprint $50     Relay(each) $35    5k $25  
To April 29:
Sprint $55     Relay(each) $40    5k $28  
Day of Event:
Adult $60     Relay(each) $45    5k $35  

PLANS FOR INCLIMATE WEATHER
1.    Delay the start of the race up to 1.5 hrs.
2.    Modify the course
3.    Cancel the race (there are no refunds for a canceled race due to weather)

VOLUNTEER
Get a front row seat as a volunteer!  Volunteers are needed throughout the event to help with participant body marking, directing athletes on and off the course, and handing out water and food.  All volunteers receive a t-shirt and a big thank you!!! AWARDS
Awards given to the overall male/female and traditional age divisions.
This event is part of the Aurora BayCare Series which offers additional prizes.
