Winnebago County Triathlon

(10 min. west of Oshkosh)

THIS IS A USAT SANCTIONED EVENT!
(USAT 1-day fee $15 for all non USAT members)

Late August is an ideal time to accept a slightly longer challenge! The 11th Annual Winnebago County Triathlon offers triathletes an Olympic distance for those who want to graduate from a Sprint. Lake Winneconne offers warm water and a beautiful view. The spacious park is easy to access and has plenty of parking.

DISTANCES
Olympic: 3/4 mile swim, 28.5 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
Sprint: 1/4 mile swim, 15 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
Aquabike: 3/4 mile swim, 28.5 mile bike

Olympic/Sprint distances can be done as a 2/3 person relay!

THE COURSE
Swim Course
Swim will be in Lake Winneconne in a triagle shape.  Buoys will serve as a guide line to the finish.  Average water temperature is 73 degrees.
Bike Course
The bike course goes out along the lake at first.  It then heads north and east on quiet country roads.  There are a few small hills.  Roads are well paved.  Elevation map is posted.
Run Course
Run goes through a residential area in Winneconne then heads out onto quiet, country roads and back.  Flat and fast course.

PERKS
We provide technically sound, safe, and exciting events.  Participants receive a
DRI WICK SHIRT, swim cap, food and fun after the event.

Bike racks will have your race number and wave you start in.  Each mile on the run courses will be marked.  All courses will have highly visible signage for each turn.  The long bike course will have aid stations and bottle exchange. There will also be plenty of aide stations along the course.

Results will be posted at pttiming.com.

AWARDS
Awards given to the overall male/female and traditional age divisions.
This event is part of the Aurora BayCare Series which offers additional prizes.

VOLUNTEER
Get a front row seat as a volunteer!  Volunteers are needed throughout the event to help with participant body marking, directing athletes on and off the course, and handing out water and food.  All volunteers receive a t-shirt and a big thank you!!! Swim course cut off time 40 minutes.
Bike course cut off time 1:55 minutes.
