Half: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13 mile run
Half Aqua Bike: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike
Sprint: 0.25 mile swim, 22 mile bike, 3 mile run
The swim is at beautiful Paradise Park at Chisago Lake in Chisago City. Buoys are set every 10th of a mile. Swim cut off time is 65 minutes
The bike course goes through Chisago County and then along the St. Croix River. There are two aid stations on the bike route. Bike Course cut off time is 3:40
Both run courses follow residential roads. Roads are well kept and flat. Run Course cut off is 3:15
We provide technically sound, safe, and exciting events. Participants receive a
DRI WICK SHIRT, swim cap, food and fun after the event.
1. No spectators (at the park)
2. Maintain social distancing
3. Wear a mask when not racing
4. You will be responsible for body marking yourself
5. No awards ceremony (we will still have awards)
6. Only "to go" food at the finish.
7. Self serve water stations.
8. No wet suit stripping
9. You will be asked to remain by your bike racks in transition before the race.
10. Time trial start. (except for elite)
All of these precautions are to host a successful and safe race. These protocols can and will change with the local restrictions placed on racing on race day. It could be possible that most of these restrictions will be lifted. We will have more information as race day approaches. BIKE and RUN AID STATIONS
Bike and Run Aid Stations are earmarked to comply with the needs of the athletes during their effort. This is a place of support: ex. water, gatorade, gel, carbs, electrolites, simple medical and reception for the athletes.
This is a USAT Sanctioned event! If you are not a USAT member, add $15 to your registration fee for one-day USAT Insurance.
We provide technically sound, safe, and exciting events. Participants receive a finisher medal, dri-wick shirt, swim cap (must be worn during swim portion), food, and fun after the event.
Bike racks will have your race number and wave you start in. Each mile on the run courses will be marked. The long bike course will have a 2 bottle exchanges and plenty of aid stations on the run station
Transition area is guarded at all times.
